Abstract

2013-06-01 to 2013-11-30
In the framework of the EMCA-Earthquake Model Central Asia, a temporary seismic network of 49 stations will be installed in Dushanbe (Tajikistan), from March to December, 2012. Aim of the experiment is to evaluate the spatial variability of the site effects and to create a validation data base for testing clustering techniques. In the middle of the experiment, about 90% of the stations will be installed in other locations, while about 10 stations will be moved to Khorog in collaboration with AKDN, for few months. The experiment in Dushanbe is performed in collaboration with the local Institute of Earth. Eng. and Geology-IEEG and single station noise measurements are also planned.
