ATEA (Active Tectonics in the strike slip and pull-apart regime of the Eastern Alps) Atea will delineatie active seismic faults / zones by high accuracy determination of focal parameters in the easternmost Alps and the Vienna basin. We will determine source mechanisms and kinematic parameters of deformation through moment tensor inversion of local and regional broadband waveforms. We will interprete this new or reprocessed seismological with geodetic data and existing geological information on active tectonics.
