Site effects could have played a role in the distribution of damage due to past earthquakes affecting the Bonn area (Germany). The aim of our project is to assess amplification of ground motion in the Bonn area by: array measurements of noise, noise measurements and application of the Nakamura technique, weak motion recordings. The data collected in the field using the instruments of the GIPP of GFZ will be elaborated and the results obtained by different techniques compared.
