In the framework of the German Research Network for Natural Disasters (DFNK) pilot-measurements will be carried out in a broad frequency range in the area of Colonia-Aachen, Germany, with mobil field equipment. The project aims at investigating the effects of spectral ground motion amplification and determination of the shear-wave propagation velocities and fundamental frequencies of soft-soil cover by means of microtremor, local and teleseismic event recordings.
