Abstract
Geothermal Exploration in Mexico:
2017-08-01 to 2018-11-23
2017-08-01 to 2018-11-23
The project aims at imaging two magmatic geothermal fields in Mexico distant by 50 km. Objectives are multiple
- drilling was performed, but many wells were dry - full images of the geothermal systems using geological and
geophysical methods will be obtained.
- link between the two geothermal systems in the geodynamic context (subduction zone)
- detect and invert for source mechanism of Long-period events recorded at volcanic sites.
