Abstract
Seismic Experiment – Understanding the Dynamics of the Eastern Himalaya Syntaxis:

We propose to operate a seismic network consisting of 30 stations (10 from GIPP + 20 from section 2.4) in Myanmar for 2 years to investigate deformation and structure of the slab (primary target for GFZ), mantle flow in the region and deformation of the upper plate (tackled with partners) by seismological studies using local and teleseismic earthquakes.
