201724 - Slow Slip CSS
Abstract
Unlocking the secrets of slow slip with IODP drilling and next-generation seismic experiments:
2017-12-05 to 2018-03-02
2017-12-05 to 2018-03-02
We will use Full-waveform inversion to recover high resolution velocity models for the slowly slipping Hikurangi plate boundary fault . We ask to use 120 GIPP instruments to record air gun shots from two NSF and NERC funded seismic expeditions.
