Abstract
Seismic-While-Drilling an Ice Core:

2019-03-29 to 2019-10-11
We will conduct a Seismics While Drilling experiment at the Greenland EGRIP ice core site. The ice core drill-head will provide a seismic source at a known depth, allowing us to determine the velocity structure and physical properties (e.g. CPO) of the ice from seismic wave propagation.
