These instruments will constitute the core of the SMARTnet network, aiming at monitoring seismic and aseismic deformation at high resolution in the Armutlu Peninsula. The instruments will be used to replace the currently deployed short-period instruments, which need to come back to GFZ in July '19 due to custom paper expiration.
